Paid, formal training in the classroom and hands-on under the guidance of experienced technicians and Safelite leaders.
Repair chips, cracks, and more

Fix auto glass related issues on customer vehicles.
Maintain an organized process

Manage work orders, documentation and communication through the Safelite handheld technology.
Go above and beyond

Tidy up during the repair process as well as performing housekeeping tasks in company vehicles and shops.
Maintain a safe environment

Safely and professionally operate a company fleet vehicle to and from customer locations.

What you’ll need as a Seasonal Repair Service Specialist

Education: High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent required.
Valid state-issued driver’s license required.
On-the-job training/completion of Safelite SafeTech™ certification.
Safely operate various equipment including hand and power tools.

Flexibility with hours and days trained/worked, as workloads fluctuate.
Comfort working outside in a variety of weather conditions.
Present a professional appearance and wear personal protective equipment.
Working at elevated heights and remaining on your feet for extended periods.

The ability to operate a Safelite van, following all safety and cleanliness policies, traffic laws, and maintaining a safe driving record.
Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. for short periods, assist an associate with lifting windshields weighing 26 lbs. to 50 lbs.
